All employees of Express Collections complete training for compliance with the HIPAA and HITECH regulations. All documentation provided for a medical file is kept confidential and secure.Our Client Access Web portal for our clients provides a secure environment in which to transmit information and documents about a medical file placed for collection.
All medical clients are provided with a Business Associate Agreement that outlines the expectations and responsibilities of
complying with HIPAA. Our office has the ability to report medical accounts to a consumer’s credit bureau. The business associate agreement will detail the information needed for accurate reporting.
Our approach to collections helps maintain the relationship between provider and patient. Your consumer may need to return
to your office for additional services or continue treatment but may not feel comfortable about doing so if they still have a balance owed. Our Account Representatives maintain that customer service approach so once the debt is resolved, they can return for additional services if needed.
